Simple to use - over and over again. All 3SecondHeat products are manufactured to be effective and more importantly, simple to use. After all, when you need relief of aches and pains you need a solution "now". Each pad, no matter the size, comes with a single coin placed inside. Simply hold the coin between the thumb and forefingers of both hands and bend it back and forth. Don't be afraid when you hear the click sound. You can't break it and it's that clicking that activates the salt water, non-toxic solution inside. The solution crystalizes and within 3 seconds - hence the name - the pad reaches a comfortable and consistent 129°F. Once the crystals stop forming the pad cools down and gets hard. Getting your magic pad ready for re-use is very simple. Just place the pad in a microwavable bowl, filled with water. Make sure the pad is fully submerged and then just turn your microwave on high for 8 minutes. If the pad doesn't look totally clear just heat it up again for another minute. It is so simple to ensure that you have a therapy pad ready to use, any time you need it. If you don't own a microwave you can place the pad on a cloth in a pot of boiling water and leave it on the stove for 5 to 10 minutes.
