Its acutally a 3.25 by 5.25. This may be even better for small spaces I am sure. Its just that I wanted 6 inches for my pen,-plus a couple makeup brushes+ pencils. Its nice for gloss,shadows/etc,vitamins, aspirin, antacids, or gum. Small stuff. I carry XS cards I dont use much- info for emergencies for my elder+myself -they will be stored in this bag. The colors are as intense as they appear onscreen- beautiful. The lining is dark brown satin, the zipper wraps over one edge so it opens wide. If it was the size shown I would rateite it 5 stars easily. I am irked by the measurement being incorrect. Its a nice little luxury for yourself or as a small gift one could always re-gift!
