The arch support seemed a bit narrow at first, but I think I will give it a try because of Birkenstock's 1 year guarantee. I like the idea of having Birkenstock comfort in a bit more stylish shoe. I'm not sure it will be the same without the cork.

I have worn these inserts for about 10 years. They were originally recommended by my chiropractor. They have made a huge difference in my lower back pain and ease of walking. I can now be on my feet for a couple of hours if necessary without discomfort. I buy a new pair of inserts each year as the old ones get flat. They are great!

When I can, I wear only Birkenstock shoes, and when I can't, I insert one of these footbeds. They are wonderful, I had serious foot problems until I discovered Birkenstocks.

These footbeds do help with falling arches, and they fit in most shoes. Very useful to extend that renowned Birki comfort to "regular" shoes.
