timeless look!!! May 19, 2012

I bought this wallet because my regular bifold was almost 3 inches thick lol. This slim wallet elimanated that problem! my only concern is that it does not have enough credit card slots. But other than that, great leather and nice look. Also love the checks slot, has the divider so you dont carbon copy through all of your checks!!!

Pros: Good looking, quality construction, plenty of room for credit cards, etc.Cons: Polished leather surface scratches easily. It's getting more difficult to find a decent checkbook cover these days. I guess checks are going the way with CDs, movie discs, & photo film. Nevertheless, this is a nice cover for those for those with above average standards.

I've been buying Bosca Old Leather collection 8 pocket card case and using it as a wallet for at least 10 years. It fits in women's pants back pocket really well, so I don't always carry a purse. This is my first checkbook cover from Bosca, and I bought it to match my wallet. The leather is absolutely beautiful and feels great. It's nice for men or women.

I've had numerous checkbooks/purses/wallets from Bosca "Old Leather" collection over the past 25 or so years and never had any major problems. Those purchases, however, were meticulously made from Italian leather and Made (crafted/sewn) in the USA. These new "Old Leather" collection products are no longer made in the US; they are made in China! After only one (1) week's worth of normal usage of this wallet, about 1/3 of the black "edging" that is glued onto the edges of the wallet, have already disappeared! I never had that problem with the "old" Bosca's. There seems to be no quality-control for merchandise made in China, hence the poor craftsmanship of this wallet. I have no issues with the beautiful leather, however, since the edging has started to totally wear off, I am doubtful I will thoroughly enjoy my new purchase as I have in the past. The leather is truly beautiful, but I would strongly advise anyone purchasing to be aware of the fact that the black binding/edging WILL begin to disappear off the wallet from continued normal, daily use and if you don't mind that, then purchase.

No complaints. I ordered the Bosca Leather Checkbook Wallet and the Bosca Leather Card Holder and the quality on these items was superb.
