Vespa

The Vespa (which means "wasp" in Italian) was the result of Enrico Piaggio's determination to create a low cost motor cycle for the masses. Piaggio was founded in Genoa in 1884 by twenty-year-old Rinaldo Piaggio and on April 23, 1946 the Piaggio Company filed a patent in Florence for the first Vespa. The rest is history.
