These tights feature built-in air-conditioning in the quadriceps and calf muscle areas of the legs to reduce excess heat build-up. The patented Kinesio Support Web™ provides targeted support to key muscles and joints, specifically in the knee, calf, IT band, and hip-flexor areas. The taping support applied to injured muscles is here harnessed to uninjured muscles, helping make sure they stay that way.

I have several pairs of CW-X bottoms. I like them because I think they feel good and supportive. They also do not compress my stomach so much that I can't breathe right. The 3/4 lenth feels more supportive than do the shorts. I had resisted buying ventilators because I thought they'd be flimsy, but they're great. I won't buy them in shorts length,though. According to the size chart, I should be an S (5'4", 120 lbs), but I buy an M. In hindsight, I would buy the less supportive Stabilyx (compared to Pro), including the ventilators, in S.
