Would Have Loved It If It Stayed Together December 10, 2009

This Dakota clip watch is super cute and not heavy and clunky like some of their bigger clips, but I had the watch less than a month (hanging on my purse) when I noticed the very thin second hand had fallen off inside the watch! Now I'm stuck with this watch that won't keep accurate time because the second hand is floating around inside the watch face. I cannot recommend this watch. It's cute, but if a watch doesn't work, it's pretty useless.

I bought this watch to attach to my purse. I am always forgetting to put on a watch, and am therefore at a loss when I need to monitor the time. This pretty watch stays with my purse which I don't forget, so I always have the time.

This is a great looking watch. Itncomes in a very nice box and all; however, I was somewhat dissatisfied with the fact that it wasn't exactly as pictured and doesn't have the bigger "normal" "hour" numbers such as 12, 3, 6, 9 and came with the "minute" numbers, 15, 30, 45, 60. Other than that, it's a sharp-looking watch with an equally nice case.

good alternative for wearing a watch March 21, 2008

This Dakota pocket watch has worked well for me. I didn't want to start wearing a watch again, but I was tired of being dependent on others to know the time. I'm female, but usually wear jeans or pants. The first thing I did was remove the silver clip because I don't need it. Frankly, I could do without the compass as well, and it does add a bit of size, but it still all works for me. I selected this item because it was MUCH less expensive than the few options I found for women's pocket watches. I carry it every day -- if not in my pocket, in my purse.
