I purchased the socks to wear with 13" DP western boots. I had purchased 2 pair of OTC socks before from a different company that cost much more and they do not stay up. The DP OTC socks however are GREAT they stay in place all day long.

Perfect hosiery for boots. Strong, but comfortable elastic. Socks stay put all day long. Minimal bulk in the foot, so your boots won't fit differently than they would with normal crew socks. I love them. I ordered three pair initially and after wearing them with my cowboy boots for a day I immediately ordered 6 more pair: 3 in black and 3 in white. I wear them with casual shoes as well. Better than Thorlos.

I wear boots a lot and got tired of regular boot socks clinging to my ankles while squeezing my lower calf muscles. These Dan Post socks are not like regular boot socks. They hug your entire calf without any discomfort. The foot piece is exceptionally well made with more than enough cushion needed for any boot. I love the anti-bacterial quality! You will not regret your purchase!

Have been looking for size 14 over the calf dress socks. You only go to 13.5. Women's shoes go only to 11, and I need size 12.
