If you want a thicker cushiony sock that fits your foot snuggly look no further. The wool seems to do as advertised. Does an excellent job of keeping feet not too hot not too cold(wicks away sweat) and seem quite durable. I did my research before buying these and they came HIGHLY recommended for running long distances and lasting a long long time. I've now ordered a full set of these Darn Tough 1488s and I think I'll be very happy for a long long time.
