I liked the checkered pattern and the blue is a cool contrast. I buy the socks mainly for the padding. These socks can be used for dress or training wear.

Glad I found the full Cushion August 20, 2012

I had been using the Darn Tough Hikers and love them. However I do a lot of backpacking and have found the Full Cushion to be much better on my feet. Now that is the only one I will buy. I have used a lot of different brands of socks over the years and glad that I finally found Darn Tough they are by far the best. They keep there shape and toughness after miles and miles of hiking. On top of that when they wear out take them to any store that sales them and they give you a new pair. I met lots of AT through hikers and they were telling me how it is the only sock they will wear and how easily they have been given replacements on the life time guarantee!

I like the fact that my socks are long enough to reach to just below the knee and STAY there without walking down my leg. At this stage in my life, 73, I require additinal warmth and padding and the Darn Tough Boot Sock fill the bill completely!
