Part of the hunting and fishing series, this sock is made with custom shrink treated merino wool with Scent Lok® odor eliminating technology. IT features an extra-wide construction and 1" in added stretch around the leg and shin, high density cushioning on foot bottom and around the shin, ribbing above the ankle to ensure and maintain a proper fit, reinforced heels and toes for added durability, elastic support knit into the arch, and ring toe construction for a comfortable, invisible seam. Made with 35% merino wool, 35% polyester, 26% nylon, and 4% Lycra® Spandex

These socks aren't very good. They are supposed to be padded but they aren't, and they don't look like the picture. I advise you to avoid these socks. I've had better socks from the five and dime.

This is the perfect color for me. It goes with everything. This sock can be used all the time, as a dress up sock or training sock. I am glad I bought these because I use them all the time.

Before Christmas I ordered 5 sets of Darn Tough Vermont socks of various descriptions; a set with "scent loc" tops for both of the hunters in the family, a couple sets for the hiker/campers, and a set for my unpleasable teenager. Everyone loves them! It looks like I need a few more pairs for my teen or I'll be washing socks every other day!Not only are they Darn Tough they're Darn Good.
