This sock naturally regulates body temperature, naturally antimicrobial, and has extreme wicking power. It's also fast drying with engineered yarn designed to wick moisture and reduce dry time. It's a great choice when keeping cool and dry is the first priority. It's for any mission and any climate. It's also over-the-calf, and has terry rib knit for custom fit. High density cushioning surrounds entire foot and lower leg, has custom shrink treated Merino wool, and ribbing above the ankle insures a proper fit. This sock also has a reinforced heel and toe, elastic support around the arch, and ring toe construction for a comfortable invisible seam. With generous sizing the calf stretches 1 inch more than our traditional sock fit, allowing for a wider range of fit.

Excellent sock May 21, 2012

I bought this sock primarily because of the warranty, but I'm sticking with this brand because the socks are so comfortable and wear extremely well. They were a gift for my boyfriend, who can be hard on socks, and he loves them. He wears them three seasons of the year hunting, hiking, and logging, with no hot spots, rubbing, or balling up under his feet.

I purchased these socks for my husband since the salesman at LLBean recommended he try wool socks with his work boots. My husband will only wear over the calf socks so thank you ShoeBuy for being the only place I could find them. My husband is very pleased with these socks. After several washings, they have managed to keep their shape and are not falling down. He also mentioned that they are very comfortable.

The Darn Tough brand socks are the most comfortable socks I've ever worn. They fit perfect and prevent blisters, while keeping you warm in cold temperatures and cool in hot temperatures. I highly recommend these socks for those who need support, protection, and most of all comfort.

The socks are by far the best socks ever made. I am a US Army Soldier of 14 years and until I wore these socks, I never thought I would feel comfortable. Now, I feel like I am walking on air cushions and I have pep in my step. The socks are truly designed for any mission and I wouldn't recommend another brand ever again.
