Product Description (Darn Tough Vermont Over the Calf Ultra Light 1409 (2 Pairs))
There's no difference between a ski sock and a snowboard sock! Skiers and riders require a sock that provides cushioning to eliminate pressure from forward lean, buckles, and power straps, or flat jersey construction to meet the demands of the shell fit customer.
Merino Wool insulates and doesn't itch. Wickit Dry Technology moves moisture off your skin keeping your feet dry and warm.
High density knitting provides cushioning for your feet and padding for your shins, all without unnecessary bulk. Bottom Line: If your boots fit better and your feet are warm, at the end of the day, you're still on the hill.
Over the calf, jersey knit, for race fit. Custom shrink treated Merino Wool. Reinforced heel and toe. Elastic support around the arch.

Great socks!

I used these two pairs of socks on a week long ski mountaineering trip in British Columbia. I climbed 33000 feet in these socks over the period of a week and not one blister. My feet did get wet as the socks are warm but even wearing the same unwashed socks day after day they worked great.
