I never could justify paying a premium price for a pair of socks until I purchased the Drymax Sock. They are very comfortable and blisters are a thing of the past.

Used to be one had to wear a silk liner sock plus a wool sock to truly prevent the hot spots inside even the best fitting boot that can lead to a full-on blister. The quality of these Drymax "engineered" socks was clear from the moment I put them on; throughout a day of hiking I found the sock was wicking moisture away from my tender but hard-working feet so that I wasn't finding hot, red spots to attend to with moleskin here or there. Plus they are so comfy you want to wear them for slippers. They are called "Lite" hiking socks, and they are a comfortable weight for summer, even desert hiking. Still, they could easily make it as a 3-season sock. A lot for a sock to accomplish, I know. In short, I do think they are worth the price.

I got these to wear with my new LOWA Desert boots. I'm a female in my mid-forties so my calves aren't small ;) I get no tight rings with these, and they breathe rather well for Florida.

Just got back from Yellowstone and Gran Tetons hiking. These socks are very comfortable and kept me dry all day, every day. No blisters, thin weave which makes them fit nicely in your boot. Excellent socks!
