Like the socks. The only problem is that they are too large as I have small feet. Kept them because they are so nice otherwise.

I've found my keeper socks finally March 06, 2012

I got fed up spending half an hour each morning looking for a matching pair of socks. So I wanted to buy all of the same sock in a couple different colors (beige/brown and black). I've spent a couple years buying socks to try, and then being disappointed by how they wouldn't last even a year before the toes got holes, or my big toe would be crammed when the socks shrunk after however many washes, or how my calves would have their blood flow and nerves cut off by how tight the socks would be at the top. I've got muscular calves that measure about 13.75 inches around at the biggest part. These socks don't go up quite that high, but go around the 12.25 inches area comfortably with even another inch or two to stretch comfortably. I've got shoe size 8 feet and went for the larger socks. My big toes are now comfortable. I was worried I'd have a lot of sock dangling past my toe, but I don't. There's hardly any dangling, and I expect even less with several washes, but who knows; they've only been through one wash so far. And without the sock pressed up against my big toe nail, I expect holes to take even longer to develop there. They go up about 10.5 inches from the floor on me. And, yes, these are the same socks pictured on other websites with the cuff turned down in half. (I bought from two different websites.) Based on other reviews, I expect them to last me years and in good shape.

I was so tired of having 15 different kinds of cheap socks. I bought 6 of these and 6 of another gold toe. I threw all of the others out! It was not cheap but that is why I bought them. Great Value. They wear, wash 7 look great!
