Combed cotton is highly absorbent, durable and comfortable. Contains: 84% combed cotton, 15% stretch nylon and 1% spandex (Oatmeal: 56% combed cotton, 18% rayon, 13% stretch nylon, 12% polyester, 1% spandex. Barley: 32% combed cotton, 34% polyester, 19% acrylic, 14% stretch nylon, 1% spandex.

These Gold Toes hold up great in the wash and keep their shape without stretching out. They're soft cotton -- there's no stratchy feel like you get with wool. If you're searching for the perfect color to wear with Clark's, look no further.

Quite simply the quality level went down. The socks have much less cotton in them this time around and more synthetic material. It is really a shame. Still not a bad pair of socks, but I will start looking around for brands other than Gold Toe. Too expensive for what they have become.
