This is my fourth Henschel hat. One was returned because my wife didn't like it's look on me. I'm not partial to leather hats but I wanted something a little dressier than the cloth version that I have been wearing. I found this one to be soft and very comfortable. The leather is not overly stiff like some others I've tried. Nor is it a very heavy hat. This hat has been through one rain and did not spot or absorb any water. The only thing I don't care for is the lack of a liner. The fact that it's crushable probably explains the lack of a liner. All things considered it is a good value in a hat.Henschel makes good products and Shoebuy sells them with excellent service!

I love my Henschel 1256. It's just a gorgeous leather fedora that I intend to have plastered to my head while outdoors in the winter months. It's also 3XL, which is a size larger than I wear from any other manufacturer.
