This hat is absolutely the lightest hat you can buy. It's made of a SPF 40-50 screen that protects you against the sun. I have both the green and the khaki hats and like them both.

I am very pleased with my Henschel mesh hat. I wear a size 8 and was delighted to find my size. It has an ample brim, SPF factor of 45 and was made in the USA! I am looking forward to fishing in it while keeping cool and being protected from the sun's rays.

The hat is all mesh except for the green parts. The rest of the hat is light green. It is very light and if it lives up to it's spf45 rating, whopee!!

The hats are wonderful! We wore them on a boating trip to the Dry Tortugas and they were light weight enough that our heads never felt hot. They provided much sun protection and looked good in spite of the rough wear. Others in our group wanted to know how to get them.
