As a general rule, if the bottom of your shoe's heel is thicker than a nickel, then your heel is probably too chunky for IdealHeel. Size Tall is for heels 3-4.5 inches in height and Size Medium for heels 2-3 inches in height.

Protection for your High Heels September 27, 2011

Best protection for high heels that I've seen. I tried the larger size on a pair of boots and they fit quite nicely though I didn't do any walking with them. The first time I tried the medium size, they kept falling off the heel of one shoe, and I was very disappointed. The second time, they stayed on all night even though I was walking on city streets (though they did move around a little). I compared the heels of both shoes and the shoes that they worked with were a little thicker at the base of the heel so they may not fit snugly on every high heel you own. I really like that they don't ruin the appearance of the shoe. However, they do make you feel a little less stable when walking. I guess you have to get used to them. I will continue using them when possible in order to extend the life of my shoes.

I was so excited when I came across this item. I only wish I found it earlier. I keep a set in the car so I don't mess up my heels anymore.
