Great Wallet May 31, 2012

Had my last wallet (nylon) for 8 years and it was a hand me down. I love my new wallet. The features are outstanding and it has lots of compartments for IDs, credit cards, ect. The storage areas of this wallet is the greatest thing since peanut butter and puppy dogs. I keep my most used items in my wallet in the front storage and now I no longer have to carry a business card case because there is another compartment under the front card holder and that's where I keep my business cards now. Very handy wallet. The ease of access to my items once my wallet got organized is 100x better than my old wallet. I count 8 storage compartments plus the ID slot and money area. The leather (I went with the Black Tumbled color option so I cannot speak for the other options available) is very high quality and appears to be well constructed. The wallet feels great in my hands and wouldn't trade it for the world. The only thing I miss about my old wallet is the zippered money compartment money separator but the features of my new wallet make up for it plus I knew that before I bought this product so please don't take what I just said as complaining. Great wallet HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I bought this product based on the price and prior reviews. It's a nice wallet, but the style is slightly more casual than I expected due to the texture of the leather and the visible stitching. Also, it seems a little thicker than my previous tri-fold wallet when folded, but nothing that I can't live with. I just tend to keep it in my front pocket more than before. Overall, a nice wallet for a great price.

My husband loves it! The billfold is the most functional billfold, with an outside slip for your most used credit card. It is so convenient.

Great Wallet December 22, 2009

This is a very high quality wallet. I have gotten compliments on it the first week I have owned it! It has numerous areas for credit cards and ID. It only lacks a small slot for an emergency house key. Like any fine leather accessory, this wallet takes some time to break-in, but the leather really softens and then folds very nicely. I would highly recommend this wallet.

A true leather wallet. It has many pockets for all your card storage and more. It is well crafted with very nice sticthing on all seams. The leather is well tannned and does not look like it was painted. I am around water all the time so I chose the antigue mahogany waterproof tri-fold. It is a little thicker when filled with cards and ID'S, but you know you have them well kept and secure. A rugged yet beautifully crafted wallet. I hope to enjoy it for years to come. I am glad I made this decision.

I bought J&M's Notetaker earlier and need a wallet so I chose their black tumbled leather trifold wallet. When I received it, at first glance, the leather didn't look as soft as it was, but it's actually got a nice soft textured feel on the outside that's carried on into the inside, similar to the Notetaker. The lining for paper currency and receipts is made of a golden-colored fabric with a subtle, simple, yet durable pattern. I needed a wallet with at least five slots, but this had seven. On the inside it has one for an ID and six for credit cards plus two credit card size "side" pockets (that aren't shown on the Shoebuy site) which are most useful when the wallet is completely folded. One thing to consider is the dimensions of this wallet when it's closed. It's 1" x 3.25" x 4" so you'll feel a bulge in your pocket and it can be heavy when fully stuffed. I never liked trifolds, but this is a keeper. The stitching along the seams are flawless and after complete inspection, you can't find where the sewing begins or ends. Overall, I really like this wallet and foresee years of usage ahead.
