I was looking for a coat that was somewhere between a warm, well-insulated coat (like a ski jacket) and a peacoat. This one is a perfect hybrid! It also definitely flatters a woman's figure, although it looks box-y online. My only complaint would be that the sleeves are both too short and too tight. I feel like the medium fits me just right when I am wearing a t-shirt, but when I wear a sweatshirt under the coat, the mid range/stomach/breast area is fine, but the sleeves are *very* tight. Perhaps I needed a bigger size, but the sleeves are the only part of the coat that is too small for me. Overall though, it is just what I was looking for.

I like the jacket's style a lot, wanted it last year but couldn't find it after I tried to wait for the price to drop a little. Now it is available again, but the fit seems a bit different--wider for me at the hips, not as flattering. I love the combo of warmth and waterproof protection, hood, and styling though.

Likes: warm! I wore this with 35 degrees weather and a tshirt underneath and was toasty. The cuffs work to keep out the drafts, the hood is a full hood that does work. Pockets are big. Figure flattering I've been told.Dislikes: I'm 5 feet tall/petite, so it's not that flattering I think. The neck cuff cuts into my neck, perhaps because I have smaller proportions. There is no way to secure the hood so it can fly off with strong winds. Overall: I'm still happy with this purchase!

I live through Wisconsin winters and this coat thus far has acted like a little campfire shield of warmth. The coat has extra pieces of cloth in the shelves and around the neck which keep out a draft. The buttons are kind of tacky looking but, that is minor. It is also water proof!
