The Capilene 3 midweight fabric has a durable, stretchy, double-weave construction that wicks extremely well. The durable smooth jersey face slides easily beneath layers. The pants are brushed for warmth, softness and compressibility. The durable elastic waistband is brushed for next-to-skin softness. They have a functional fly and a gusseted crotch for unimpeded mobility. The pants are slim fit and weighs (6.9 oz) 196 g. The fabric of the solid version is 5.4-oz Polartec® Power Dry® 100% polyester double knit (65% recycled) and the heather version is 5.4-oz Polartec Power Dry 100% polyester double knit (51% recycled), both with Gladiodor® natural odor control.
