An exceedingly feminine, urban ultralight down coat inspired by one of our most technical alpine garments. Features windproof, water-repellent shell fabric with DWR finish is superlight with high tear-strength and quilted construction. Full length 2-way zipper, princess seams front and rear and on-seam handwarmer pockets with interior drop-in pockets. Made of 100% polyester micro ripstop with DWR finish and 800 fill power goose down insulation.

This coat fits beautifully and I've received many compliments. Others had commented it wasn't warm enough for bitter weather; I don't find this the case and I'm ALWAYS the first one to feel the cold. I'm a car commuter and love the double zipper, but I'm also a regular dog walker (loong walks) and find the jacket plenty toasty w/o the Michelin tire bulk of most down coats. I can layer anything under this coat and it still looks good; the above-knee length is flattering and versatile. I'm planning to take it to Spain this March where the weather is in-between, but I think it will work. I hesitated at the price, but bought the black and feel I've invested in a coat I both love and will wear for quite some time.

This seems like a great lightweight parka. I haven't yet worn it out (I also bought the Downtown Loft, which I'm wearing now), but plan to use it as a travel jacket, for it's light-weightedness and warmth. Traveling at the end of this month, can tell you more then.

I bought this coat because I wanted something lightweight and warm. Based on online reviews I bought a large because everyone said that it ran really small and I wouldn't be able to fit anything under it (I am 5'6" and weigh 140 +/- 5 pounds, but my bust measurement was within the 'large' sizing specified by Patagonia). I wish I had bought a medium. The large is just too loose on me and the shape of the coat gets lost. Otherwise I like the coat, it is very lightweight yet warm and the cut would be really nice if sized right.
