Best socks ever May 15, 2011

I have owned these socks for many years, i.e greater than 5, or rather so many I can't remember when I bought them. I have numerous pairs and colors (although they are limited in their selection) and I wear one pair each week, so I would guess each one has been worn and washed over 250 times.I suffer hot feet and these were the only socks I have ever owned that don't make my feet sore during a days wear.The reason I bought more was simply the one's I have are starting to fade and although the elastic is still great, they are becoming more stiff and not as soft. (My mother who was visiting recently commented on how 'hard' my socks felt, so I thought it was time for some new ones).So, yes they are expensive, but given I'd buy new socks every year that were about half the price, these have paid for themselves many times over. Having said that, there's still sticker shock when buying them, but you have to get over it and try them.I just wish they did more colors, but at least they cover the basics.Go ahead, treat yourself, you won't regret it.

The Best Combination of Comfort and Style I Have Found June 05, 2010

I first bought some pairs of this brand three or so years ago. They were at a local department store that no longer carries them. I liked them so much I went on line and tracked them down for less than the department store had sold them to me. I sought them out because: 1. They are very comfortable and extra thick. They are the most comfortable dress sock I've ever owned. 2. They keep their shape, color and feel through many washings and 3. They are reasonably priced. I gave the sock brand four stars because the selection of color and patterns is very limited. Each sock is 5 star fine with me, but some may find the material not as soft and smooth as they may like. If you like your dress socks than this is not the sock for you. This time around, I ordered from Shoebuy two pairs of Navy and two pairs of Havana. The Navy are what I expected but the weave is a little different than what I had before. The Havanas are very brown and my recollection is that the last time I ordered the Havana color the socks were a very light brown. Light brown or dark brown made no difference to me I have shoes and slacks to go with either. In a dress sock these are the best combination of comfort and and style that I have ever found.

I bought these socks for my husband, who already had a few pairs. When they stopped selling them, he was crushed, but I found them on Shoebuy.com, and bought him four more pairs, which he was thrilled about!! Apparently, they're the most comfortable socks he's ever worn, not too thick, not too thin, don't sag -- they're perfect!!! Guess I'd better buy a few more before he wears them out!!

I originally bought a pair of these on sale at Nordstroms and they soon became my favorite socks when I travel. They are very comfortable, not too thick, keep my feet dry and warm, very durable, and the elastic/spandex material has not worn out in over a year. What else could you ask for?

These socks are great. If you have small feet then make sure you get the smaller size.
