Royal Robbins 40014 Field Guide Vest

I purchased this item primarily to help support a 12 day trip to Scotland where I knew I would be responsible to make sure that everything that my wife and her 79 year old Mother wanted to have carried around on the tours would be available. This vest has so many pockets the only problem was remembering what pocket something was stored. One of the best things about this vest is that while it has many pockets, it does not look like it does, unlike most other similar vests. Many are hidden behind seams, those with bellows lie flat when not used, or on the inside of the vest completely hidden from view. I never got the chance to determine if the fabric supplied any water resistence, but its tight weave looks like it does, and it has a benefit in that it is much lighter than cotton or canvas. The style, design and workmanship is superior.
