Good Simple Checkbook cover

I was looking for a checkbook cover that did not have the stiffness of traditional covers. It is simple and sturdy and will hide scratches well. I was pleased with the look and feel of the cover; the buttercalf is worth the extra money. The only criticism I have is that I have no use for the plastic credit card insert. I would have preferred that it include something to lean on (stiff heavy plastic) to allow for clear writing of duplicate checks.

This leather checkbook cover was purchased as a gift for someone last month. The quality is excellent, it was packaged very nicely in a box with tissue paper, and the shipping was incredibly fast! I love the quality of the buttercalf leather - extremely soft with such a rich feel to it. The cover is very well made, looks very expensive, and is exactly what I have been trying to find - just a classic leather checkbook cover without extra features adding bulk.
