Great socks, weak pom-poms

I have purchased Smartwool socks before and love how they embrace your foot and are really comfortable. I liked the color of the socks and in particular the pom-pom on the back to stop the socks from slipping into the shoe. However, the first time I wore them both pom poms came off. So if you want to keep the pom poms you need to put in a few extra stitches to keep them in place.

I bought these based on my previous experience with Smartwool socks and the fact that these looked so cute. They are every bit as comfortable as my other pair, however, the cute little pom poms fell off two of the socks. The first fell off the first time I put them on and the second one fell off in the washer (I wash them in a lingerie bag on delicate). So, although the comfort can't be beat and they're still cute, I was a little disappointed with the pom poms.
