Smart Wool socks are the BeSt!!March 04, 2013 Reviewer: Barb from Hudsonville, Michigan I love Smart Wool socks! They are warm and soooo comfortable. They don't feel itchy like you might expect. When I have them on, it's an ahhhh moment!
Best dress socksMarch 02, 2013 Reviewer: Anonymous from These are the best dress socks. Lightweight, soft, comfortable.
great medium weight socksFebruary 18, 2013 Reviewer: workingmomof2 from CA Smartwool is all I wear now, even in summer! They wash and don't shrink. They last. They don't itch. The Cable are great for business or nice casual with loafers.
Great Wool SocksSeptember 09, 2012 Reviewer: Oneda from Atlanta, GA These socks are warm, but not too bulky. I wear them all winter with sandals. When the weather is really cold, I put wool liners under the wool socks to keep my feet even warmer. They are very durable; they wash and dry well.
great socks!April 02, 2012 Reviewer: Jen O. from Denver these socks don't itch, are thin but still warm. nice, simple design for trouser socks. I wear them around the house on weekends and with my Merrells, which don't have a lot of space for bulky socks.

They are so warm and comfortable. Now all I want to wear are the Smartwool socks and not my cotton socks.
Best all-around sock that seems to last foreverDecember 20, 2011 Reviewer: NJML from South Jersey, USA These socks have been a staple in my wardrobe for more than 5 years. The sock is thin enough to wear with a more mainstream shoe for the office. Yet casual enough for jeans + pants. They maintain their shape and color beautifully having machine washed and line dried. While these socks seem to have less wool content than 5 years ago and be lighter weight, they still warrant 5 stars for me.

Good socksNovember 25, 2011 Reviewer: Sara from Whitehouse, OH I will only wear good socks. These are great. The only drawbacks are:I ordered the "celery" color, and I got dark brown.I have a size 7.5 foot, I ordered the socks that included that range, they fit a little big. (but not so big that they bunch- I just wouldn't wear them for long walks)

Smart Wool Socks Are Great !January 21, 2011 Reviewer: Anonymous from I do a lot of outdoor activities and these socks keep my feet dry. I would recommend them highly.
Average socksJanuary 18, 2011 Reviewer: Leslie M. from Buffalo NY These socks were certainly not worth $13.00 a pair. Comfort is average but seemed to stretch out when I washed them. They were also a lot thinner than the other smart wool socks that I have bought. Will never buy socks on line again with out being able to feel the fabric.

They are not bulky like some wool socks and come in extended sizes. Right after she wore them for the first time, she wanted to know what other colors they come in, so I see an additional purchase here!

Most blisters, itching or discomforts are caused by feet that aren't dry. These socks wick away moisture. You don't notice that it is wicking - the sock is never damp when you remove your shoes - you only notice how great your feet feel. Since your feet don't feel wet, they don't feel cold, either, and on hot days they don't feel sweaty. I am amazed that the same sock works so well for both summer and winter weather. These aren't as thin as a nylon trouser sock, and have no padding on the footbed like some of their other styles. The cable design gives just a bit of a dressy look. I am slowly switching over to wearing these exclusively. It is a real let down to have to wear a non-smartwool pair; there is just no comparison on how your feet will feel.
