Definitely a nice hat. I use bucket hats for golf and fishing because of the added sun protection over my ears and face. This is a good looking hat and is well made. I would say the material is medium weight and seems sturdy. I am very hard on my hats with lots of washings and abuse. The longevity of the material remains to be seen, but I am guessing it will hold up. The sizing is spot on and I got a good fit with the XL on my 7 5/8 head.I will buy another one or two of various Stetson buckets.
