I expected the coat to be better quality than it really is. The 2 pockets are different in size (cannot see from outside, you can feel the difference when you put your hands in the pockets), and actually one of the pockets doesn't have its seam sewn all the way together so there's an opening of about an inch. Another complaint is that the coat isn't as warm as I expected but I'd say maybe my expectation was too high. Other than these I like this coat.

Function & Style, cute coat and very warm, runs a little big...ordered a large so it would be comfortable with large sweaters, could have gotten away with the medium. But the large is fine.

I love this parka. I have plenty of down filled jackets and coats, but they all seem heavy on my shoulders after wearing it for awhile. This North Face Metropolis Parka is light weight, and just as warm as my heavier ones, and its the perfect length to keep me warm! I just started wearing it, and I am so happy that I decided I did.
