Have worn these socks for years. They are great light hiking socks and great to wear around the house in the winter, keeps you warm but not sweaty or uncomfortable. Great to keep your hardwood floors clean too as you walk around the house! These socks are not for boat shoes as they would be slightly heavy for that. Best for Merrell light hiking shoes, Timberland or other light walking type cross over shoes. Good with khaki shorts or long pants.

I wear these socks with Crocs for my 12 hr shifts at work, and I really like them. They have nice padding and even though they are a little thicker than regular socks, my feet stay nice and dry. Thorlo socks with Croc shoes have proved to be the first time my feet don't ache and feel tired after 12 hrs of work.
